Capital Crafters

Capital Crafters aims to provide a friendly atmosphere for individuals to come and relax, meet new people, share ideas and create handmade crafts. You can learn a new craft by participating in one of the many organised activities that run throughout the year, or you can bring your own craft project, have a cuppa and a chat with our friendly members.

With meetings held weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays (childcare available Thursdays at a per hour rate $3.30 1st child, $2.20 second child & $1.10 3rd child) from 9.30am to 12.30pm at the DCC, Capital Crafters is open to all like-minded individuals who seek a warm and open environment where the support and friendship is as forthcoming as the smiles.

Craft UFO Day

 Un-Finished Objects!

We all have them, hidden away in cupboards, baskets, drawers and tubs. Those well-intentioned craft projects that you so lovingly began. Maybe it was to decorate your home, give as a gift or just to try something new. Either way it was never finished and has been sitting there for so long you can’t even remember what the next step is!

Bring your unfinished projects to UFO Day! You will enjoy a day with like-minded Crafters whose only purpose is to complete their long-lost projects and make new friends. Draw on the wide variety of craft knowledge of all who attend and enjoy a fun, relaxed day.

Please bring a plate of something to share with the group for lunch, ovens and fridges are available on the day as well as tea & coffee supplies.

UFO Day will run several times throughout the year, on the first Saturday of each month  from 9:30am to 2:30 pm and is a CHILD-FREE event.

Looking forward to seeing you and your long-lost project very soon!
