Duntroon Community Centre is a facility for Defence and non Defence families of the greater Canberra region. We have been providing services to the community for over seventeen years. Our programs include 3 year old Playschool, Playgroups, community events, craft groups, short courses and social activities. We even loan ski outfits and cake tins to our members. Feel free to drop in and meet us to see what we can offer you and your family.
Opened originally in 1981, the Centre has always offered Defence families a place to go for companionship and support. The Centre became incorporated in May 1992 and the Playschool program started soon after. Moving to our current location in July 2003, the Centre of today is a fabulous facility (located on the grounds of Royal Military College Duntroon) which offers a diverse array of programs and activities, available to both Defence and non Defence families of the greater Canberra region.

The Membership form can be downloaded from the Policies and Forms page. Once completed, please drop or mail the hardcopy into the Centre, together with payment.
The Centre produces a newsletter twice a term. These are electronically available via our website. Notice of a new newsletter will also be sent via Facebook and email.
A voluntary committee manages the Centre. All members are encouraged to offer their services as a member on the Management Committee and all members are invited to attend committee meetings held each month. Fresh faces and fresh ideas are an important part in keeping the Centre an interesting and exciting place to be part of.
